A Short Drive South of the Beach on Ocean Ave
Sandy Hook and Gateway National Recreation Area sit at the north end of the peninsula. Gigi's is straight down Ocean Ave in Sea Bright, the same Route 36 you take through town. If you're heading up to the beach for the day, it's an easy stop to load up before you go; if you're heading home, it's right on the way out.
We're open seven days a week, and the kitchen runs from breakfast through dinner. Monday through Thursday and Sunday we're open 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday we stay open until 10:00 PM. That covers an early start toward Sandy Hook and a late dinner after a long day in the sun.
Pizza, Subs, and Salads to Go
This is beach food that travels well. Order NY-style pies by the slice or whole, or go for a Brooklyn Sicilian square, a Grandma pie, a stuffed pizza, or a gourmet specialty. Sonny's signature sandwiches and Italian heroes come on semolina bread, and there are cheesesteaks, wraps, and salads if you want something lighter for the sand.
If you get there before the beach crowd, breakfast is served all day from 7 AM: breakfast sandwiches, eggs benedicts, pancakes, omelettes, and platters. There's also a kids menu and desserts like cannoli, cheesecake, and zeppoles for the ride home.
